Hello

My name is Rachel Ramsden and I am a Paediatric Speech Pathologist. Prior to starting up my private practice, I worked at the Mater Children's Hospital and for Queensland Health in Community Health Clinics. I have had a variety of clinical experiences in which I have treated tiny premature babies and children (who have had feeding and eating difficulties), children with autism, children with dyspraxia and children with typical speech and language delays.

Child development particularly interests me as I find children to be fascinating, ever-changing little creatures eager to explore, learn and grow from their experiences. I really enjoy watching children improve from attending therapy. It is quite the thrill for me to see children's speech, language and literacy skills improve from a) what I have taught them, b) their hard work and c) the hard work their parents put in at home!
